100% OWNED IN-HOUSE EQUIPMENT!
Industry Recognized Technology for
Safe Isolation Testing
Our isolation/weld test plugs are meticulously engineered with safety as the top priority, ensuring the secure and efficient handling of hot work on upstream lines by positively isolating and closely monitoring potentially explosive vapors. The tool can be easily repositioned to perform a localized hydrostatic test on the new weld connection, using minimal water or test medium. With the ability to isolate through elbows and tees 6 inches and larger, our technicians are ready to support your testing needs today.
Available in sizes ranging from 3/4 inches to 48 inches and capable of reaching pressures up to 2250 psi (or up to 5000 psi with customization), our tools are suited for multi-schedule piping and a variety of flanges, including weld neck, slip-on, socket weld, orifice and more. The tool continuously monitors seal integrity and upstream pressure, venting any activity safely away from the hot work area. Additionally, it can circulate medium around the seals to maintain integrity during high-heat procedures such as pre-heating, PWHT, bake-outs, or stress-relieving, ensuring that safety is never compromised during critical operations.
Large Diameter Ready
All owned and in-house inventory is ready to meet your needs. Additional build-to-suite capabilities for non-standard sizes are available.
Critical Safety Features
Our isolation and test tools can monitor the seals of the tool and monitor upstream pressure while venting to a safe location. Two o-rings are constantly monitored by the pressurized medium-filled zone in the annulus space between them. A gauge on the tool shows constant pressure, verifying the integrity of the seals and guaranteeing we have positive isolation throughout the hot work. A gauge also monitors upstream activity while being vented to a safe distance from any potential ignition source.
We can circulate medium around the annulus of our tool which allows the seals to remain intact for high-heat procedures such as PWHT, bake-outs, or stress relieving.
Once welding has been completed, the same tool that was used for isolation can be repositioned over the new weld and a localized hydrostatic test can be performed with just ounces of water or test medium. We can test weld neck flanges, slip-on flanges, socket weld flanges, orifice flanges, branch connections, and more.
